What it does

A notes app. Plain text, organised into folders if you want, or left as one stream if you don’t. Search works across everything.

How it works

Tap to add. Type. The note saves as you go. Folders are optional: drop notes straight into the main stream or organise them later. Long-press a note to rename, move, or delete.

Why it’s here

Notes is the catch-all surface for the things that don’t fit anywhere else. Phone numbers, ideas, paragraphs you wanted to remember, the name of a song you heard. Free forever, no account, nothing leaving your phone. The version of Notes that always should have existed.
